If you're planning to catch a classic rock experience in the Vancouver area, you might recognize some familiar faces on stage from prominent Vancouver tribute bands like Live Wire, Cruise Control, Bad Medicine, Fleetwood Magic, Dave & Diane Duo, Piano Man, and the Trailer Park Playboys, just to name a few.
This international touring show is commemorating their 23rd anniversary since their Middle East debut at the Royal Regent Palace in Dubai, UAE, back in June of 2001, just before 9/11.
The band's patented "Concert Set" redefined how Canadian bars hired bands since the late 2000s, requiring more playing time and fewer breaks. Many other bands were not thrilled with GNFNR’s performance regime.
Currently, the band is showcasing all the iconic GnR songs like "Sweet Child o’ Mine," "Paradise City," "Welcome to the Jungle," "Patience," "Civil War," "Nightrain," "Don’t Cry," and "November Rain." Their concert show set also includes GnR covers of classic tracks such as "Live and Let Die," "Knocking on Heaven's Door," "Sympathy for the Devil," and "Hair of the Dog."
Many members of this Vancouver tribute band lineup come from the Trailer Park Playboys, Perfect Strangers, Red Zeppelin, Freebird, Slide it In, Montana Rock, The Crystal Maze, and have held supporting roles in major recording artists' live performances.
